Just managed to finish it today! I was in such a panic over making sure I reached the deadline that I kind or rushed the coloring a bit. Sorry about that. 
I did intend for the background to look rough, but I think I made it too rough, if you know what I mean. I'm so proud of how I drew Saira though. I've never drawn curly hair before, so I'm really happy with how she turned out. Also, apologies in advance for any inaccuracies. I drew all the lineart at school where it's really tough for me to pull up any decent references because the school wi-fi sucks and I didn't take enough screenshots of Isi's art before leaving. Anyway, hope you like it Isi! Best of luck to the rest of you entering the contest!

I saw this the day you posted it but I had not time to comment and you may know that I like to take a little more time in commenting pictures
First of all: I love the title. I would guess that you don't chose it randomly but rather because my two cuties resemble both. And if you did so it's great you could spot that detail. I try not to focus on romantic-only interactions between those two but rather a relation ship with a very deep bond. x3
But now to your picture:
I already told you that but I love how much details you can fit into your style. Your chibis have very thin bodies but you still manage to put the details into them.
I really appreciate that you drew different eye shapes for each! Gosh Saira looks so adorable! And I'm surprised how good Avarus' smirk is coming though even if his mouth is that small! And I can agree that you did a very good job on her hair, it looks so fluffy and soft
